Ezekiel Elliott is one of the big names that are still on the free agent market. After being cut by the Dallas Cowboys, Elliott is trying to find the right team to sign with. Running back is often a tricky position as teams are often set with who they have. However, Elliott’s experience and blocking prowess make him valuable to any team. He was spotted hanging out with Cincinnati Bengals star Ja’Marr Chase sparking rumors that he could be looking to join the team.

Ezekiel Elliott To The Cincinnati Bengals?
The Bengals were already one of the favorites to land Elliott. With the ongoing Joe Mixon drama off the field, they could use a running back. Joe Burrow would also not mind a back that could pick up blitzes when needed. The video from above is furthering speculation. The video is taken at the EXOS training facility and you can see Ja’Marr Chase hanging out with Elliott. This could be two players getting together in the offseason or it could be a sign of something bigger.
A Perfect Spot
I cannot think of a more perfect marriage than that of Ezekiel Elliott and the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals need a solid running back but not necessarily a bell cow. They have Chase, Tee Higgins, and Tyler Boyd in the passing attack. Elliott, I’m sure would love to go to a contender where he has a chance to win a Super Bowl. He also played his college ball at Ohio State University and it might feel a little like a homecoming for him.
While the initial craziness of free agency has calmed down, that does not mean that there are no important signings that can happen now. There are many veteran free agents still looking for a home and it will be interesting to see which teams add some pieces late in the offseason.
